Our Approach
We pride ourselves on being a craft restaurant. Items that other places take right from package and heat and serve, we take the time to make. Everything from croutons, dressings, desserts, sauces, and sides are made in house several times weekly with the freshest ingredients. Our steaks are hand cut and our seafood and fish is purchased seasonally from the best sources around the country. It might take more time, but doing it right often does.
Our Story
The Captain’s Table has a 60 year history of providing steak and seafood on the Mississippi River. Unfortunately, during a remodel in January of 2018, the original building was lost due to a fire. Reopening in 2020, with a new building and a brand new commercially built marina allows for all to enjoy one of the most exciting river front properties on the Mississippi River. The new building honors many of the elements from the previous including a Captain’s Table room, port hole windows and of course, the highly sought after fish tank booths. It also includes excellent seating inside and outside. With a new deck and the main level being elevated over 5 feet from ground level, there is “Never a bad seat in the house”. Our focus is on providing excellent streaks, seafood and fish all hand crafted and prepared from scratch. The dedicated and seasoned Captain’s Table team is an excellent mixture of great people who are service focused to keep everyone on a “Daycation”!
